How to make it

  • CREAM TOGETHER BUTTER, SHORTENING AND SUGAR UNTIL LIGHT AND FLUFFY.
  • BEAT IN EGG.
  • STIR IN DRY INGREDIENTS ALTERNATELY WITH MILK.
  • FORM IN 4 ROLLS, 1 INCH DIAMETER.
  • CHILL UNTIL FIRM ENOUGH TO SLICE EASILY.
  • CUT INTO 1/8 INCH SLICES.
  • BAKE AT 350 DEGREES F. ABOUT 10 MINUTES.
  • PUT COOKIES TOGETHER WITH MINT FILLING
