Ingredients
  • 1/2 cup onions finely chopped
  • 1 teaspoon canola oil
  • 2 cups water
  • 1 ( 15 ounce) can or jar of pizza sauce
  • 1 cup pepperoni chopped
  • 1 cup fresh tomatoes chopped
  • 1/2 cup cooked sausage
  • 1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • shredded mozzarella cheese for topping

Directions
  1. in a large saucepan, saute onions in oil for 2- to 3 minutes or until tender.
  2. add water, pizza sauce, pepperoni, tomatoes, and sausage.
  3. bring to a boil over medium heat.
  4. reduce heat; cover and simmer for 20 minutes.
  5. stirring occasionally.
  6. before serving stir in parmesan cheese.
  7. garnish with mozzarella on top of each bowl.......
