Ingredients
  • 1 pkt rolled puff pastry
  • 1 rabbit on the bone app. 750g
  • 220g mixed wild mushrooms sliced
  • 1liter chicken stock
  • 250ml red wine
  • 1 sprig of thyme
  • 1/2 carrot sliced
  • 1 celery stick sliced
  • 1 clove garlic

Directions
  1. Pour wine into fry pan and reduce by 1/2. Pour wine in with rabbit, cover and place in oven at 200c. Cook for 11/2 to 2 hrs.
  2. Fry mushrooms until soft and place to one side
  3. Pick all the meat of the bone, being areful not leave any bone in the mix.
  4. Add to mushrooms, season, and add a little stock to moisten the meal but not to make it wet and sloppy.
  5. Leave to cool in fridge for 1-2hrs.
  6. Cut pastry to desired size, spoon in the mix, cover with pastry lid.and seal the edges.
  7. Egg wash the pastry then bake for 10m at 220c until pastry is cooked
  8. Enjoy
