Ingredients

2 eggs, beaten

3/4 cup sugar

4 Tblesp. butter

3 lemons ( juice and grated rind)

2 cups mayonnaise

1 cup nuts, chopped fine

Directions

In top of double boiler, combine eggs, sugar,lemon juice and rind and butter.

Cook, stirring until thick ( like mayonnaise).

Remove from heat and cool.

Add mayonnaise and nuts.

Spread thinly on bread.

Cut sandwiches into 4 triangles for a delightful party sandwich.
