This is a great party food and it has a great flavor.

Ingredients
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 4 Tblesp. butter
  • 3 lemons ( juice and grated rind)
  • 2 cups mayonnaise
  • 1 cup nuts, chopped fine

Directions
  1. In top of double boiler, combine eggs, sugar,lemon juice and rind and butter.
  2. Cook, stirring until thick ( like mayonnaise).
  3. Remove from heat and cool.
  4. Add mayonnaise and nuts.
  5. Spread thinly on bread.
  6. Cut sandwiches into 4 triangles for a delightful party sandwich.
