Frozen coconut parfaits

- 12 Tbs water shopping list
- 6 Tbs sugar shopping list
- 1 cup flaked coconut shopping list
- 2 tsp vanilla extract or coconut extract shopping list
- 1 cup heavy cream shopping list
- garnish: shopping list
- 1/4 cup toasted sliced almonds shopping list
- 1/4 cup toasted coconut shopping list
How to make it
- Bring water and sugar to a boil and boil 5 minutes till syrupy.
- Remove from heat and cool about 10 to 15 minutes.
- Stir in coconut and vanilla.
- Cool completely.
- Whip cream to soft peaks and fold into the mixture.
- Divide mixture into dessert dishes.
- Freeze one hour or more if needed
- Before serving, remove from freezer and sprinkle with some of the almonds and coconut
