Marinated Tuna Kebabs

- 14 ounces of tuna steaks shopping list
- 16 small button mushrooms shopping list
- Marinade: shopping list
- 3 garlic cloves, crushed shopping list
- 3 T olive oil shopping list
- Grated rind and juice of 1 lemon shopping list
- Grated rind and juice of 1 orange shopping list
- 1 T chopped fresh thyme or 1 tsp dried thyme shopping list
- salt and freshly ground black pepper shopping list
How to make it
- Wash and pat dry the tuna steaks.
- Cut the tuna into 3/4 inch cubes and put the cubes in a non-metallic bowl.
- Clean and wipe dry the mushrooms and add them to the bowl.
- Combine the ingredients for the marinade and pour over the tuna and mushrooms.
- Make sure the tuna and mushrooms are evenly coated with the marinade.
- Cover and leave to marinate for 30 minutes to an hour in the fridge.
- Halfway through, toss the tuna and mushrooms again.
- Thread the cubes of tuna and mushrooms on to the skewers.
- Preheat the grill to high and oil the grill rack.
- Brush the kebabs with the marinade.
- Grill for 2-4 minutes on each side, brushing them with more marinade when you turn the kebabs.
- Serve immediately.
