This is a really odd recipe!! I think its one of those things that you really enjoy or despise!! I love it but it does have a different earthy flavor!! I do experiment a lot with this which is why I really like it!!

Ingredients
  • 2 TBS whole coffee beans(or more as you like!!)
  • 2 TBS whole black peppercorns
  • 4 12 oz NY strips
  • Vegetable oil
  • Kosher salt

Directions
  1. combine beans and peppercorns and grind
  2. Press the mixture evenly on both sides of steaks
  3. lightly brush grill with cooking oil
  4. Grill over high, direct heat for 8-10 minutes turning once
  5. rest steaks for 2-3 minutes
  6. Turn steaks with tongs. Piercing with fork makes all the flavored juiceds escape!!!
