Lemon Pie Filling

- 2 cups sugar shopping list
- 4 Tbs. cornstarch shopping list
- juice from 2 lemons shopping list
- 1/8 tsp. salt shopping list
- 4 egg yolks shopping list
- 2 cups boiling water shopping list
How to make it
- Beat all ingredients together, adding 2 cups boiling water.
- Cook over a double boiler until thickened, stirring occasionally.
- Note: Save the whites for the mirange.
