Spicy Sambal Fish

- 4 pieces of fish shopping list
- 2 tbsp chili paste shopping list
- 10 shallots shopping list
- 4 cloves of garlic shopping list
- 1 stalk of lemon grass shopping list
- 2 cm fresh tumeric shopping list
- 2 tbsp thick tamarind sauce shopping list
- 50ml water shopping list
- 2 tsp sugar shopping list
- salt and pepper to raste shopping list
- oil shopping list
How to make it
- Ground shallots, garlic, lemon grass and tumeric.
- Deep-fry fish in hot oil for 3 mins. Set aside.
- Heat oil in saucepan.
- Fry ground ingredients and chili paste until fragrant.
- Add tamarind sauce, water, sugar, salt and pepper.
- Stir well to mix.
- Add in fish and simmer until fish is cook.
- Serve immediately.
