Border-Style Shrimp

- cooking spray shopping list
- 1 1/2 cups chopped white onion shopping list
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin shopping list
- 1 teaspoon chili powder shopping list
- 1 1/2 pounds medium shrimp, peeled and deveined shopping list
- 2 garlic cloves, minced shopping list
- 2 tablespoons butter shopping list
- 1/2 teaspoon salt shopping list
- 1/8 teaspoon hot pepper sauce shopping list
- 1/4 cup fresh lime juice shopping list
- 1/4 cup finely chopped green onions shopping list
- lime wedges (optional) shopping list
How to make it
- Heat a large nonstick skillet coated with cooking spray over medium-high heat. Add onion; sauté 3 minutes. Add cumin, chili powder, shrimp, and garlic; sauté 4 minutes. Remove from heat, and add butter, salt, and hot sauce. Stir until the butter melts. Stir in juice and green onions. Garnish with the lime wedges, if desired.
