This is a quick and easy recipe for salsa (hot sauce) I prefer it without the jalapeño seeds because I don't like hot foods.

Ingredients
  • 14 oz. can of Stewed tomatoes
  • 3-4 chopped green onions
  • 2 minced garlic cloves
  • 1/8 cup of cilantro leaves (I use less because I'm not a big fan of cilantro)
  • 1 jalapeño sliced (REMOVE seeds if you don't want it HOT!!)
  • 1 tsp. lemon or lime juice
  • 1 tsp. salf (more or less if desired)
  • 1 tsp. pepper
  • Dash Cumin (optional)

Directions
  1. Place ingredients in blender
  2. Stir before blending
  3. Set the blender to PUREE and mix
  4. Stir it up and pour into your favorite salsa dish/platter/bowl
  5. I like to make my own tortilla chips with corn tortillas. I cut the tortillas into 4 pizza looking slices and deep fry in Canola oil until lightly browned. I add salt after they're fried. If you fry a pound of corn tortillas that will easily serve 6 people.
