Ingredients

How to make it

  • Cream together the butter and sugar
  • mix in the eggs and vanilla
  • slowly mix in the flour
  • beat it...beat it....just beat it
  • pour batter into a lightly greased cake pan
  • sprinkle crushed toppings and/or choco chips on top
  • cook at 325 until lightly brown on top and toothpick comes out clean about 25-30 min
  • I got this recipe at my bridal shower, all the guests brought a recipe for my box, this one is from my mother in law, she just uses walnuts and choco chips, but in the last ten years we have put just about everything in them. Chocolate doesn't go well with dry fruit, but cranberies and nuts are great. The kids like it because it is like an experiment andthey get to pick what they like. It should come out somewhere between a brownie and a cake, but mostly brownie.

Sounds great lemans! Nice story behind it too, what a great idea for a wedding shower! You say brownie over and over...is it supposed to have cocoa powder in it too? If not, I wonder how much I could add?
