How to make it

  • preheat oven to 350
  • into a roaster pour in the cans of creamy soup...add 2 cans of white wine and stir it good
  • nest the game hens in the roaster breasts facing up and place the birds legs to the inside of the roaster... the soup should float into the cavities..
  • crush and crumble the bacon into little bits and sprinkle all over...
  • take a whole can of mixed nuts...run them through a hand grinder once to make them into small pieces...
  • sprinkle all over....
  • shred -shave -or tear the cheese and layer over the breasts to trap the sprinkles ........
  • bake for one hour at least
  • poke to a bone.......no red juices there done......
  • if you put this on wild rice........wow.......

Just had game hens for Christmas with my honey mustard glaze, but this sounds like a great way to make them-bookmarked!

I was just thinking that cornish games hens were ignored in recent years! I'm looking forward to trying this!
