Vermicelli Al Pesto

- 1 pound package vermicelli shopping list
- 2 cups packed fresh basil leaves shopping list
- 1 cup olive oil shopping list
- 2 cloves garlic shopping list
- 1/2 cup pine nuts shopping list
- 1 teaspoon salt shopping list
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper shopping list
- 3/4 cup parmesan cheese shopping list
How to make it
- Cook vermicelli according to package directions.
- Process garlic first then add remaining ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth.
- Drain vermicelli reserving a small amount of pasta water.
- If pesto is too thick stir in one 4 tablespoons of reserved pasta water.
- Toss pasta with pesto.
