Peas and Mushrooms

Great recipe here from my friend Cindy. She has about 8 women friends over every 4th Sunday and cooks fabulous meals. this is one she serves often and we all love it. She uses fresh peas when available. Enjoy
Ingredients
- 20 ounces frozen petite peas shopping list
- 8 ounces fresh mushrooms diced shopping list
- 1/2 cup chopped onion shopping list
- 4 tablespoons butter shopping list
- 2 teaspoons granulated sugar shopping list
- 1 teaspoon salt shopping list
- 1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper shopping list
How to make it
- Cook peas as package directs then drain.
- Sauté mushrooms and onions in butter until onions are barely cooked.
- Add sugar, salt, pepper and peas then cover and cook until heated through.
