- 1 kilograms rice or egg noodles. ( you can replace it with your favorite pasta but with a bit different taste shopping list
- 1 pc large carrots – sliced cross wise about 3mm thick shopping list
- 1 stalk celery – cut diagonally about 10mm length shopping list
- 1 stalk leeks– cut diagonally about 10mm length shopping list
- 2 pcs medium size white onions – cut into strips shopping list
- ¼ of medium size cabbage – cut into strips shopping list
- ¼ kilogram of green beans – cut diagonally about 10mm length shopping list
- 5 pcs medium size shitake mushroom – soak in a 2 cups water for about an hour. Squeeze and cut into strips shopping list
- ¼ kilograms shrimp – remove head and shell and deveined. (optional you can extract juice from the head) shopping list
- ¼ kilogram lean meat – cut into strips sprinkle a pinch of salt and sugar then mixed. shopping list
- ¼ cup oyster sauce shopping list
- 2 tablespoon dark soy sauce shopping list
- 2 tablespoon light soy sauce shopping list
- 1 tablespoon sugar shopping list
- ¼ cup cooking oil shopping list
- 2 cups hot water shopping list
- salt to taste. lemon or kalamnsi shopping list
How to make it
- 1.Place wok in high heat, pour in cooking oil stirfry shitake mushroom until brown then set aside.
- 2.On the same oil stirfry the lean meat, when the meat change its color and almost done add shrimp, continue stirring.
- 3.Add the dark soy sauce, light soy sauce and oyster sauce, mixed well.
- 4.Add 2 cups hot water – deduct amount of shrimp juice if you prefer to use it. Let it boil.
- 5.Add shitake mushroom, carrots and green beans let it simmer for a minute.
- 6.Add remaining vegetables. Mixed well. Sprinkle the sugar.
- 7.Add noodles cover and let it simmer for a minute.
- 8.Uncovered and mixed well. Consistency of noodles should be “al dente”
- 9.serve hot with lemon or kalamansi squueze on top
