Breakfast Quiche Recipe

	Batona / All my dishes 1 year, 2 months ago This is the perfect dish to bring to a pot luck breakfast, such as in the work place or at church. The recipe was provided to me by my mother, but it came from a friend of hers who served it Christmas morning for 30 years. Prep:480m Cook:45m Servings:12	Batona

Ingredients

6 slices bread, crusts off (it takes me 7 slices)

1 pound pork sausage patties, browned and drained; crumbled

6 ounces shredded cheddar cheese

8 eggs, beaten

2 cups half and half

1 teaspoon salt

2 tablespoons butter, approximately

Directions

Butter each slice of bread, place in buttered 9" x 13" pan.

Spread pork sausage over bread.

Sprinkle cheese over sausage.

Mix together: eggs, half and half, and salt.

Pour liquid into baking dish.

Cover with foil.

Refrigerate over night.

Uncover, remove from refrigerator 15 minutes before baking.

Bake at 350ºF for 45 minutes.
