How to make it

  • Mix flour, powdered sugar and margarine to crumbly stage.
  • Spread in a rectangular glass dish and bake at 350 for 15 minutes.
  • Stir every 5 minutes to brown all sides as it cooks.
  • Remove from oven when lightly browned.
  • Combine filling ingredients and beat at high speed for 15 minutes.
  • Whip 1 cup whipping cream, 1 teaspoon vanilla and 1/2 cup powdered sugar.
  • Fold into egg white mixture.
  • Remove 1/3 of crumbs from pan then spread remaining crumbs evenly over bottom of pan.
  • Spoon egg white berry mixture over crumbs then top with reserved crumbs.
  • Cover with foil and freeze at least 3 hours.
  • Leave at room temperature for 10 minutes before serving.
