- 125 g butter shopping list
- 230 g sugar shopping list
- 3 eggs yolks shopping list
- 1tbls rose water shopping list
- 250g plain yogurt shopping list
- 125g flour shopping list
- 2tsp baking powder shopping list
- 55g ground almonds shopping list
- 125g semolina shopping list
- 300g sugar shopping list
- 1 cup water shopping list
- 1tbs rosewater shopping list
How to make it
- cream butter sugar together
- whisk egg yolks yogurt rosewater until combined
- sift flour baking powder and semolina and combine with wet ingredients
- whisk egg whites to soft peaks fold fold into mix and spread into a lined baking tray and bake for 30 minutes
- in a medium pot combine sugar water and additional rose water and cook over medium heat until boiled stirring constantly once boiled reduce heat do not stir and allow to cook for another 5-7 minutes but do not allow syrup to change color syrup should be thickened
- once cake is golden remove from oven and pour hot syrup over hot cake serve warm or cold
