How to make it

  • Mix all ingredients except for oil and mix well.
  • Heat frying oil or butter in large skillet over medium heat
  • Drop the batter by spoonfulls into skillet (approx. 2 Tbs. per hocake)
  • Fry each till brown and crisp, turn with a spatula and then brown other side
  • With slotted spoon, remove each cake and drain on paper towel
