My Moms Sticky Frosting Recipe

Here is my mom's recipe for old fashioned boiled sticky frosting. It's really REALLY great on cakes, and also her pumpkin cookies. Takes a little time to make, but is soooo worth it!

Ingredients
  • 2 Egg Whites- Beat stiff
  • 1 Cup White Sugar
  • 1/4 cup water

Directions
  1. Boil together until it's stringy off a fork.
  2. Add slowly to whipped egg whites while beating on high, until stiff.
  3. Usually takes about 10 minutes.
  4. Enjoy!
  5. You can also add some spices to it. I've added pumpkin pie spice, apple pie spice, and cinnamon to it, and it's fantastic! Never tried liquid flavorings, so if anyone tries, let me know if it worked please!
