Favorite Pineapple Lime Congealed Salad

- 1 large box lime jello shopping list
- 1 8 ounce package Philiadelphia cream cheese, softened shopping list
- 1-20 ounce can crushed pineapple, drained shopping list
- water shopping list
- Chopped pecans, optional shopping list
How to make it
- Drain pineapple, reserving juice
- In measuring cup, add pineapple juice and enough water to measure 2 cups
- Heat this to boiling
- Meanwhile, in bowl place lime jello and softened cream cheese
- Pour boiling water/juice mixture over this
- Stir until dissolved
- Add crushed pineapple, stirring lightly
- Add nuts if desired
- Place in dish and refrigerate until congealed
- Cut into squares when ready to serve
