How to make it

  • Cut Spam into quarters per can to make 8 cubes.
  • Boil Spam, pork cube, taro, onion and tomatoes in water for 5 to 8 minutes until taro is tender.
  • Mash 1 taro in the soup, because this will make the soup a little bit thick.
  • Add all the veggies except the kangkong leaves and let it cook for another 2 to 3 minutes until veggies are almost cook.
  • Add the kangkong leaves first then the tamarind flavor cube or sinigang mix.
  • Let it boil for another minute without cover.
  • Add salt according to your desired taste.
  • Served with fish sauce or patis on the side.
