Walnut Rich Cookies

This is a recipe I obtained from an estate sale last weekend. I have not made these yet, but fully intend to when time allows. These sound really good to me. Enjoy
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup butter shopping list
- 3 tablespoons powdered sugar shopping list
- 1 cup sifted flour shopping list
- Topping: shopping list
- 2 eggs shopping list
- 2 tablespoons sifted flour shopping list
- 1 teaspoon baking powder shopping list
- 1/4 teaspoon salt shopping list
- 1 cup walnuts chopped shopping list
- 1/2 cup quick-cooking oatmeal shopping list
- 1/2 cup coconut shopping list
- 1 cup brown sugar shopping list
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla shopping list
How to make it
- Cream butter then blend in powdered sugar and add sifted flour.
- Pat in square pan and bake 15 minutes at 325.
- To make topping beat eggs lightly.
- Sift remaining flour, baking powder and salt into the eggs and mix.
- Add remaining ingredients then mix well and pour over cookie base.
- Bake at 325 for 25 minutes.
