Sage Bread

- 1 cup skim milk shopping list
- 3 tablespoons sugar shopping list
- 1 tablespoon salt shopping list
- 2 tablespoons dried onion, flakes shopping list
- 3 tablespoons butter shopping list
- 2 envelopes dry yeast shopping list
- 1 cup warm water shopping list
- 4 1/2 cups flour shopping list
- 2 teaspoons ground sage shopping list
How to make it
- Scald milk with sugar, salt and onion flakes and butter; cool to lukewarm. Stir yeast into water and then into milk mixture. Mix flour and sage and add to milk, beating well. Dough will be heavy and sticky. Cover and let rise unti doubled. Stir down and spoon into greased tube pan. Bake at 375 for 1 hour or until it tests done.
