Pumpkin Bread Recipe
This is a pumpkin bread recipe that goes back a couple of generations. It started out with using fresh pumpkin but canned is just as good. The aroma when baking is just as sweet as the bread itself.

Ingredients
  • 31/2 cups of flour
  • 21/2 cups of granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 2 tsp. baking soda
  • 11/2 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1 tsp. nutmeg
  • 1 tsp. cloves
  • 1 large can of pumpkin pie mix
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 cup of cold water
  • 1 cup of veggie oil
  • 1 cup raisens (optional)
  • 1 cup walnuts (optional)
  • you can substitute for any nut or drid fruit.

Directions
  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees
  2. spray muffin pan with cooking spray
  3. sift together all dry ingredients
  4. in a separate bowl, blend together all wet ingredients
  5. add optional fruits and nuts
  6. pour into muffin pan filling only 1/2 way full
  7. bake & enjoy!
  8. (hint) let set over night for best flavor and moisture
  9. (hint) recipe can be used with any baking pan..EX loaf, 13 by 9
