How to make it

  • Drain artichokes hearts and pat dry.
  • Cut in fourths
  • Combine dry ingredients.
  • Combine wet ingredients
  • In a large bowl combine both mixtures and stir till smooth.
  • Gently place artichokes in bater and mix well by hand.
  • Heat an inch or two of oil in a heavy duty skillet to medium high.
  • Pour 3/4 cup of the mixture and fry till golden.
  • Drain on paper toweling.
  • Sprinkle with coarse salt if desired
