Ingredients

How to make it

  • In large pot bring water to boil
  • turn off
  • take tea bags and dunk them in holding onto ends
  • swirl and redunk for two to three minutes until water turns a nice dark brown
  • Leaving tea bags longer gives a bitter and dry-tongue taste
  • remove bags and discard
  • stir in sweetener until dissolved
  • let cool to warm and pour into plastic jug
  • cover and refrigerate (should keep fine for a week)
  • OR pour into a glass full of ice cubes and garnish with lemon/orange
  • add fresh squeezed lemon juice if you like it.
  • garnish with mint leaves

I too have put up our family recipe for iced tea. My kids are not fond of the mint or lemon, so I make a pretty bland tea. I really like yours!
