The Royal Master Recipe for Muffins

Ingredients
- 2 cups flour shopping list
- 3 teaspoons Royal baking powder shopping list
- 1 tablespoon sugar shopping list
- 1/2 teaspoon salt shopping list
- 2 eggs shopping list
- 1 cup milk shopping list
- 4 tablespoons melted shortening shopping list
- any flavor ingredient (i.e. four tablespoons fruit jam or two teaspoons poppy seeds, chocolate chips, dried fruit, etc) shopping list
How to make it
- sift together flour, baking powder, sugar and salt
- add eggs, milk melted and cooled shortening to make a stiff batter, mix all together well
- half fill greased muffin tins
- bake in moderate oven at 400 degrees F. eighteen to twenty minutes.
