Ds Teriyaki Venison Stir-fry

- Make rice for serving stir fry shopping list
- 1 lb. venison steak, cut into 1/4-inch strips shopping list
- 2 tablespoons oil (veg. or canola) shopping list
- _______________________________ shopping list
- 5 tablespoons teriyaki sauce, DIVIDED into 3 T. and 2T. shopping list
- 1/2 teaspooon seasoned salt shopping list
- 1/4 teaspoon fresh ground pepper shopping list
- _______________________________ shopping list
- 1/4 cup julienned onion shopping list
- 1 med. julienned sweet red and/or green pepper shopping list
- _______________________________ shopping list
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch shopping list
- 1/2 cup cold water shopping list
How to make it
- Brown steak in oil in skillet, drain
- Sprinkle with 3T. teriyaki sauce, seasoned salt and pepper
- Cover and cook, medium heat, about 5 mins. , until meat is almost tender, stirring frequently
- Stir in onion and pepper,
- Cover and cook 5-8 mins., or until meat and veg. are tender
- In a bowl, combine cornstarch, water and 2 T. teriyaki sauce until smooth
- Add to skillet, bring to a boil, cook and stir for 2 mins.or until thickened
- Serve over rice immediately
