Ingredients
  • 1 or 2 pounds beef, cubed for stew
  • 1 can beef consume
  • 1 can tomato soup
  • 1 can tomatoes 14 1/2 ounces
  • 1 can green beans, drained
  • 3 stalks celery, cubed
  • 3 potatoes, peeled and quartered
  • 1 med. onion, diced
  • 1/2 cup red wine
  • 12 cup bread crumbs
  • 1 Tbs. tapioca
  • 2 Tbs. brown sugar
  • 1 Tbs. salt

Directions
  1. Combine and mix all ingredients well. Pour into a large casserole and cover. Bake in a preheated 250 degree over for 5 hours without removing the cover. (You can double the meat and vegetables, but don't add extra liquid>)
