Ingredients

Outer skin :

1 C raw rice , soaked for 1 hr

1 tsp salt

1/2 C milk

1 tbsp olive oil

Fillings :

1 C fresh grated coconut , 1/2 C jaggery , 3 cardamoms , 1 tsp ghee - fry until thickens

1 C fresh grated carrot , 1/2 C caster sugar , fried nuts , 3 cardamoms , 1 tsp ghee - fry until thickens

6 cashewnuts , 6 almonds , 2 dates , 3 cherries , 12 raisins , 2 tsp sugar , 3 cardamoms , 2 tsp fresh grated coconut , 2 tsp roasted poppy seeds - mix well

Directions

Add water and make a paste with the rice and salt in a food processor .

Heat a pan . Add the oil , paste and milk .

Stir until it thickens and roll into a dough .

Make 13 balls .

Flatten it abit and put the filling in the middle and cover it .

Seal the edges .

Steam for 5 mins and serve warm .
