How to make it

  • This is all done in the microwave
  • In a 1 quart glass casserole melt butter 30 seconds. Combine with bread crumbs and walnuts and cook 2 1/2 to 3 1/2 minutes. Stirring halfway through cooking time. Add onion, chili sauce, salt, lemon juice and pepper and blend evenly.
  • Stuff mushrooms using about 1 Tab. stuffing per cap.
  • Arrange 10 to 12 mushrooms on a paper plate, cover with waxed paper and cook 8 to 10 mins. rotating dish 1/4 turn halfway through cooking time, most new microwaves have a self turn. Serve hot.
