Ingredients

How to make it

  • Holding doily in both hands with point down shape into a cone and glue in place.
  • Fill with flowers as a table favor at showers, OR
  • Fill with crinkle paper and chocolates and place at the head of dinner plates, ready for after dinner treats, OR
  • Fill a piece of tulle with potpourri tie with a pretty ribbon and place inside the cone and keep in a guest room to add fragrance, OR
  • Fill the cone with rose petals to be thrown at the Bride and Groom.
  • I did the potpourri idea, with the tulle liner in the doily. I used the same color ribbon to close the tulle liner as I did the ribbon handle to hang the cone by, which I stapled to the doily.
  • For a crowning effect, I found silk flowers in different colors and glued the underside of the flower petals to the top edge of the doily cone, using a different color or different flower for each guest.
