Fat candles

Paraffin wax or a used candle

Directions

I unwrapped the scented fat candles that were to be the basis of my gift, and using a dab of melted wax, attached two skeleton leaves, pointed downward on the candle.

Then I took a bit of raffia and tied it around the candle, so that the bow would lay just where the two leaves were. I put a dab of wax under the bow to keep it in place.

Each candle was then placed on a small coaster. I had found several of differing designs and styles at a thrift store, and cleaned them up nicely just for this purpose. If you can't find any that way, you may have to buy a set, but they aren't expensive. And your guests are worth at least that much, right?
