Broccoli Nicoise

- 1 pound broccoli cut into spears shopping list
- 1/4 cup white onions very finely chopped shopping list
- 2 tablespoons olive oil shopping list
- 1 garlic clove crushed shopping list
- 2 large triangles of puff pastry cooked shopping list
- 2 ounces bread crumbs fried until golden in sunflower oil shopping list
- 1 teaspoon salt shopping list
- 1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper shopping list
How to make it
- Steam broccoli until tender.
- Soften onions in oil over a very gentle heat covered and stirring from time to time until they are soft and sweaty.
- Stir in the garlic and season with a salt and pepper.
- Toss in the cooked broccoli spears and place in a warm dish on the triangles of puff pastry.
- Serve sprinkled with the fried bread crumbs.
