Seven Flavor Dish

- 2 whitefish fillets shopping list
- 2 eggs shopping list
- 2 medium yams (I like garnet yams for this recipe) shopping list
- 2 medium potatoes shopping list
- 1 small red onion shopping list
- 1 banana shopping list
- 1 avocado shopping list
- 1 T butter shopping list
- olive oil or flax oil shopping list
- salt and pepper shopping list
How to make it
- Put the potatoes, yams and eggs into a pot and cover with cold water. Bring to a boil and cook till potatoes and yams are done.
- At the same time melt butter in a frying pan and add the fillets, salting generously. Saute for a minute or two then add about 1/2 cup water and allow them to cook till flaky and done.
- In the meantime, cut banana into slices and divide between two bowls.
- Cut red onion into 1/2 chunks and add to bowl (you may use 1/2 the amount of red onion if you wish)
- Cut avocado into 1/2 chunks and add to the bowls.
- Take eggs, run under cold water, peel and slice into 4 wedges, add 1 egg per bowl.
- Cut the potatoes and yams into 1/2 chunks add to bowls. Mix all ingredients in bowls till just mixed
- Top with fish fillets cut into 1 inch chunks and drizzle with olive oil or flax oil.
- Add fresh ground pepper and salt
- Enjoy!
