Butter Steamed Spinach Recipe
This is an incredible way to eat spinach. Buttery, herby and just flat out good. Hope you enjoy as much as we do.

Ingredients
  • 2 teaspoons butter
  • 1 pound fresh spinach cut into small pieces washed and stemmed
  • 1 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper

Directions
  1. In a large skillet over medium heat melt butter.
  2. Add spinach to skillet then cover and cook over medium heat 3 minutes.
  3. Remove cover and stir spinach until leaves are wilted and tender about 1 minute.
  4. Season with nutmeg, salt and pepper.

YUM! :) Got to try it with that one little ingredient I've never tried in spinach...nutmeg.


I know this is good. One of my favorite sides.
Nutmeg is good in almost anything, anyway!
