Crock pots are cool again! This reminds me of the chicken pot pie they serve at Ruby Tuesdays. The great part about this one is.....it's done in the crock

Ingredients
  • 1 pound turkey cutlets, cut into 4X1 strips
  • 1 small onion, thinly sliced
  • 2 TBS. minced green onions WITH tops
  • 1/2 pound mushrooms, sliced
  • 2-3 TBS. all purpose flour
  • 1 cup half and half (you can use milk)
  • 1 tea. dried terragon leaves
  • 1 tea. salt
  • Pepper to taste
  • 1/2 cup frozen peas
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • Puff pastry shells

Directions
  1. Layer turkey, onions and mushrooms in slow cooker.
  2. Cook on low 4 hours
  3. Remove turkey and veggies to serving bowl
  4. Turn cooker to high
  5. Blend flour into half and half until smooth. Pour into cooker. Add tarragon, salt and pepper to cooker.
  6. Return cooked veggies and turkey to cooker.
  7. Stir in peas
  8. Cook 1 hour or until sauce has thickened and peas are heated
  9. Stir in sour cream just before serving.
  10. Serve over cooked pastry shell.
