Speedy Sausage Dinner Recipe

Ingredients

1 package of sweet hot Italian sausage links (6 to 8)

1 small onion, chopped

1 tbsp oil

1 clove garlic, minced

1/4 c mushrooms, chopped

1/2 green pepper, chopped

1 1/2 c marinara sauce

1 package of Hoagie or crusty rolls

water

salt and pepper to taste

Directions

Heat a pan with water. Add sausages and bring to a boil. Drain and set aside.

In the same pan, remove water and wipe the pan.

Heat oil in pan and add onions. Cook until slightly brown.

Next add mushrooms, garlic and peppers.

Once veggies have soften,add marinara sauce and return sausages to pan.

Cover and bring to a boil. Add salt and pepper to taste.

Simmer over low for a few minutes.

Serve in crusty buns with salad.
