Nopali Salad

- Nopali paddles shopping list
- onions shopping list
- tomatoes shopping list
- cilantro (not too much) shopping list
- oregano shopping list
- pepper shopping list
- olive oil shopping list
- balsamic vinegar shopping list
- freshly grated parmesan cheese shopping list
How to make it
- Boil about a cup of large chunks of nopali cactus per person for about 10 minutes. Some people prefer to boil the paddles and then chop them up.
- Rinse well.
- While the nopalis are cooking chop the onions finely and coarsley chop chunks of tomatoes. Add the amount to suit your taste.
- Mix the cooled chunks of nopali with the above.
- Add oregano, fresh finely chopped cilantro, salt and pepper to taste. Mix well.
- Add the balsalmic vinegar and olive oil and toss.
- Sprinkle with freshly grated parmesan cheese and serve.
- Some people like to cool it in the refrigerator for an hour or so.
- Enjoy. :-)
