Spaghetti with Kielbasa
From shimmers 16 years agoIngredients
- large can of purchased spaghetti sauce, any kind shopping list
- large can of diced, crushed or stewed tomatoes shopping list
- herbs, such as basil and oregano shopping list
- kielbasa, sliced shopping list
- any veggies you might want to toss in - mushrooms, peppers, onions shopping list
How to make it
- This is my easy-to make spaghetti dish. Grab what you got and toss it all in a large pot.
- Chop fresh herbs, preferably, and toss into the mix.
- Slice the kielbasa. No kielbasa? That's OK. I also use frozen meatballs, leftover chicken, steak, whatever.
- I'll often add mushrooms, onions and peppers. Fresh or frozen is fine.
- Simmer slowly for about a half hour.
- I like to serve this over Barilla Plus Angel Hair pasta. Works well with any pasta.
- Maybe I should call this "garbage spaghetti" but that doesn't do the wonderful taste of this dish justice. Makes great leftovers!
