Spaghetti Lovers Soup

- spaghetti Lover's Soup shopping list
- 1 pound lean ground beef shopping list
- 1/2 cup chopped onion shopping list
- 1 small green sweet pepper, chopped shopping list
- 1/2 cup chopped celery (1 stalk) shopping list
- 1 medium carrot, chopped shopping list
- 2 cloves garlic, minced shopping list
- 2 1/2 cups water shopping list
- 2 cans diced tomatoes, 14.5 oz. each shopping list
- 1 jar spaghetti sauce (13 to 15 oz) shopping list
- 1 T. sugar shopping list
- 1/2 t. dried Italian seasoning, crushed shopping list
- 1/2 t. salt shopping list
- 1/4 t. black pepper shopping list
- Dash crushed red pepper shopping list
- 2 oz. dried spaghetti, broken into 2" pieces shopping list
How to make it
- In large pan, or Dutch oven, cook meat, onion, sweet pepper, celery, carrot and garlic over medium heat until vegetables are tender and meat is no longer pink. Drain off fat. Add water, undrained tomatoes, spaghetti sauce, sugar, Italian seasoning, salt and black and red pepper. Bring to boiling. Add broken spaghetti. Return to boiling. Reduce heat and simmer, uncovered, for 12 to 15 minutes or until spaghetti is ender. Serve at once. Makes 6 servings.
