Semiya Kesari Or Vermicelli Dessert

- 1 C vermicelli shopping list
- 1/2 to 3/4 C sugar shopping list
- 1 1/2 to 2 C water shopping list
- 2 tbsp ghee shopping list
- Pinch of cardamom powder shopping list
- 10 cashew nuts shopping list
- 20 raisins shopping list
- Pinch of colour powder shopping list
How to make it
- In a pan put one teaspoon ghee and fry the vermicelli till light brown.
- Set aside .
- In the same pan add one tsp of ghee and fry the cashew nuts and raisins.
- Add the water and bring to boil.
- Add the vermicelli and cook till soft .
- Add sugar and the colour .
- Mix well .
- Cook till it thickens in low flame .
- Add remaining ghee ( optional )
- Stir thoroughly and transfer it to a glass bowl.
- When cool cut into desired shape .
