How to make it

  • In a pan put one teaspoon ghee and fry the vermicelli till light brown.
  • Set aside .
  • In the same pan add one tsp of ghee and fry the cashew nuts and raisins.
  • Add the water and bring to boil.
  • Add the vermicelli and cook till soft .
  • Add sugar and the colour .
  • Mix well .
  • Cook till it thickens in low flame .
  • Add remaining ghee ( optional )
  • Stir thoroughly and transfer it to a glass bowl.
  • When cool cut into desired shape .
