How to make it

  • Cut apple into large chunks (okay to leave peeling on for more chewiness & vitamins).
  • Put into cereal bowl and top with granola, spices, butter & sweetener. Cover bowl and microwave on high for about 5 minutes, or till apple is cooked (check & stir once or twice).
  • Remove from microwave when done & carefully uncover
  • Add milk or yogurt or cottage cheese (for a bit of protein) and eat with a spoon.
