This is my Great Aunt Alice's bread. It's a quick bread that "the nieces" (mom & her sisters) made many variations on.

Ingredients
  • 3 c. graham flour
  • 1/2 c. white flour
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1/2 c. molasses
  • 2 c. buttermilk
  • 2 tsp baking soda
  • 1 c. raisins or chopped dates or chopped nuts, or shredded zucchini

Directions
  1. Mix ingredients
  2. Bake in 350 degree oven for 1 hour.
