Alice Mays Brown Bread

This is my Great Aunt Alice's bread. It's a quick bread that "the nieces" (mom & her sisters) made many variations on.
Ingredients
- 3 c. graham flour shopping list
- 1/2 c. white flour shopping list
- 1 tsp. salt shopping list
- 1/2 c. sugar shopping list
- 1/2 c. molasses shopping list
- 2 c. buttermilk shopping list
- 2 tsp baking soda shopping list
- 1 c. raisins or chopped dates or chopped nuts, or shredded zucchini shopping list
How to make it
- Mix ingredients
- Bake in 350 degree oven for 1 hour.
