This was my Grammies pie recipe. This never lasted long at the table.

Ingredients
  • 5 eggs
  • 3 Tbsp. butter, soft or melted
  • 1/2 cup white sugar
  • 1 1/4 cups white corn syrup
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 3 Tbsp. flour
  • 2 cups pecan halves
  • 1 unbaked 9 or 10-in. pie shell

Directions
  1. Beat eggs lightly.
  2. Add butter, sugar, syrup, vanilla, salt, flour and pecans.
  3. Pour into pie shell (9-in. will be full).
  4. Bake at 350 degrees for about 40 minutes or until center is soft but not quite set.
