Gooey Pumpkin Buttercake

- for crust- shopping list
- yellow cake mix (18 1/4 oz box) prefer Duncan Hines shopping list
- 1 stick of melted butter (8 tbsp) shopping list
- 1 egg shopping list
- for cake- shopping list
- cream cheese (8oz package) softened shopping list
- can of pumkin (15 oz) shopping list
- 3 eggs shopping list
- 2 tsp vanilla shopping list
- 1 stick melted butter shopping list
- powdered sugar (16 oz box) shopping list
- 2 tsp cinnamon shopping list
- 2 tsp nutmeg shopping list
How to make it
- preheat oven to 350 degrees F
- for crust- in large mixing bowl add cake mix,
- 1 stick melted butter, and 1 egg
- beat with mixer until moist (will be clumpy)
- grease13x9 baking dish (or pan)
- finger crust onto bottom of dish
- now for the gooey part
- in same mixing bowl you used , you don't need to wash it
- add softend cream cheese
- powdered sugar
- 3 eggs beat on med-hi slowly adding 1 stick of melted butter
- add vanilla
- add pumpkin
- mix together
- add cinnamon and nutmeg
- pour onto crust and bake approx. 45 min
- crust will bown and pumpkin will firm around the outside
- don't insert toothpick, it's not gonna come out clean, even when it's done
- remember it's a gooey cake, I forgot that the second time I made it and I overcooked a bit, it was still good but not so much a gooey cake
