How to make it

  • In a pan, fry the sausages until they are slightly brown in a casserole dish.
  • Next, place milk, eggs, flour, salt, pepper, and butter in a blender and blend until smooth.
  • Pour batter over sausages and bake at 375 degrees for 30 to 40 min. or until batter becomes golden brown

    GR has several Toad-in-the-Hole recipes, and I like yours the best. Simple, simple, simple.
    One variation that sounds interesting is wrapping the sausages with bacon.
