Ingredients

How to make it

  • heat oven to 450 degrees if you're using a pizza stone. otherwise you can grill your pitas until it's crispy before putting it in the oven or you can just bake it in the oven as is
  • drizzled olive oil on both side of the pitas so it won't stick to the stone
  • meanwhile, heat pan on the stove with some butter and garlic. sauted the shrimps and scallops until done but not overcooked. they'll get super chewy. once cooked put aside
  • start layerig the pitas
  • spread alfredo sauce generously over the pitas, then layer it with mozarella cheese, tomato slices, camelized onions, shrimps and scallops, cilantro and topped with more mozarella and parmesean cheese
  • carefully place the pitas on top of the stone and let it bake for about 6-10 min. or golden brown
  • serve immediately

I agree - we love pizzas made on flatbreads... we've used the wonderfully thin lavosh and it is excellent, too. Your toppings and the "white sauce" are exactly the kind of pizza I love - will try using the alfredo sauce...great idea. Thank you!

What a great recipe! You have a great idea of using alfredo sauce on the pizza shell! I make a shrimp scampi pizza but never once thought of using a creamy sauce! How unique! Thank you for the new recipe! Its a good one!
